اختتم بالعاصمة صنعاء أعمال المؤتمر الثاني للرعاية التنفسية وأمراض الصدر الذي نظمته على مدى يومين هيئة مستشفى الثورة العام.
وفي الختام أكد المشاركون أهمية استمرارية التعليم في مجال الرعاية التنفسية وأمراض الصدر والاستفادة من الخبرات الخارجية والمحلية.
وأوصى المؤتمر بإنشاء جمعية خاصة بالرعاية التنفسية وأمراض الصدر، والعمل على ادخال الأجهزة الحديثة لتشخيص ومتابعة الأمراض التنفسية والصدر بالمستشفيات.
كما طالب المشاركين بتدشين خدمات الرعاية التنفسية بكافة المستشفيات الحكومية والخاصة، وإقامة المؤتمرات العلمية والدورات التدريبية لكوادر الرعاية التنفسية وأمراض الصدر بشكل متواصل وعلى مستوى محافظات الجمهورية.
وناقش المؤتمر، في يومين، بمشاركة ٣٥٠ أكاديميا وطبيبا يمثلون الجامعات والمستشفيات على مستوى المحافظات، مجموعة من الأوراق العلمية حول واقع الرعاية التنفسية وأمراض الصدر في اليمن، ومتطلبات النهوض بواقعها في مراكز ومستشفيات البلاد.
