وبحسب البيانات التي أصدرتها النقابات والإتحادات والمنظمات الحقوقية ، طالبت من رئيس السلك القضائي معالي النائب العام ومعالي وزير الداخلية والجهاز القضائي بتحقيق مبدأ العدالة وتطبيق العقوبات وفقاً للقانون والشريعة الاسلامية والحكم بالقصاص على القاتل ومن تآمر و خطط معه في تنفيذ جريمته بحق الشاب ماجد حميد مهدي.
وكما أعلنت النقابات و الإتحادات والمنظمات تضامنها الكامل مع قضية مقتل النقابي /ماجد حميد مهدي ، وأصدرت بذلك بيان رسمي تستنكر وتدين بأشد العبارات الجريمة البشعة التي تعرض لها المجني عليه ماجد حميد.
كما عبروا خلال البيان عن استيائهم إزاء جريمة الغدر و القتل ، حيث وصفوها بالعمل اللا إنساني والمخالف للشريعة والقانون والتي قام بارتكابها المدعو /عمر لطف النمر بحق النقابي / ماجد حميد مهدي .
كما ناشدوا في بيانهم الجهات القضائية بسرعة التحقيق والتعجيل في تنفيذ حكم الإعدام والقصاص بحق الجاني المدعو / عمر النمر ، كون الجريمة التي تعرض لها النقابي /ماجد حميد مهدي جريمة ظُلم لم يسبق لها مثيل ، هزت المجتمع والرأي العام .
